New book on integrity in politics and government written by RSM professor

Wednesday, 24 September 2014

Het is zeker relevant ook na lezing van een of meer artikelen over ‘integriteit’ in de September 2014 uitgave van Liberaal Reveil, dan ook het jongste boek van Muel Kaptein te down-loaden, een gratis e-boek. Kernzin: ‘Serve and handle your power with integrity’.

Servants of the people, abbreviated ‘SPs’, are all those who hold a position, paid or unpaid, in politics and government. The people grant them power under the condition that they serve and handle this power with integrity. But how should they do that? The free e-book The Servant of the People: On the power of integrity in politics and government offers the necessary concepts, insights and guidelines.

This e-book is written by Muel Kaptein, professor of business ethics and integrity management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). Each of the 95 chapters discusses one of the many facets of integrity, with plenty of positive and negative examples involving different kinds of SPs from different countries. The central message of the book is that integrity has great power over SPs: it can make or break their careers.

The 326-page e-book can be downloaded in PDF format here and as ePub (for tablets) here.
